DBSA-NOVA: Meetings

We have six meetings in the Northern Virginia area and are always looking for individuals who are willing to open up their homes, offices and other organizations to host meetings.

We have been blessed to have had several separate groups recently volunteer meeting places for our groups.

TEEN DEPRESSION and BIPOLAR SUPPORT GROUP: This support group for teens with depression or bipolar disorder meets in the Senior High Room of the Fairfax Presbyterian Church, which is located at 10723 Main Street in Fairfax. The meetings are held on Thursday every week. The meetings will be from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. "While parents cannot attend the teens meeting, they are encouraged to meet in the Junior High Room to share their experiences with each other." CENTREVILLE DEPRESSION and BIPOLAR SUPPORT GROUP: This support group for those with depression or bipolar disorder meets in a second-floor classroom in the new educational wing of Centreville United Methodist Church , which is located at 6400 Old Centreville Road at the intersection of Route 28 and New Braddock Road . The meetings are held on Tuesdays once every week. The meetings will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. For more information, contact .

WOODBRIDGE DEPRESSION and BIPOLAR SUPPORT GROUP: This support group for those with depression or bipolar disorder meets in Suite 200, Group Room B of the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building, a government building, which is located at 15941 Donald Curtis Drive in Woodbridge . The meetings are held on Wednesdays every week. CENTREVILLE LOVED ONES SUPPORT GROUP (bipolar disorder only) : This support group for those whose loved ones have bipolar disorder meet at the home of Thomas and Frances Blair, who live at 14369 Round Lick Lane, which is near the intersection of Round Lick Lane and Sequoia Farms Drive. If you are interested, we are looking for volunteers to coordinate the distribution of the educational materials (brochures, mood charts, food tips, etc.) that will be available at each meeting; volunteers to help coordinate our publications and management of our online sites; volunteers to help coordinate refreshments for our meetings and a variety of other things that can be done to help out.
